Fall Pickings!

We absolutely love Fall in North Carolina! It is a beautiful time here as the weather begins to cool down and the leaves turn such beautiful shades. The summer heat and humidity are coming to an end and it’s a great time to be outside and explore the Triangle! What better way to see different parts of this area than with some fall crop-picking or pumpkin patches! These are great for a family day trip, couples' date spot, or a solo adventure destination! We've gone ahead and rounded up 3 of our favorite local spots! Go ahead and pick some apples or stock up on pumpkins to carve or decorate your porch with!

1) Perkins Orchard- Durham, NC
​This orchard does not allow picking of any kind but would be a great place to spend a weekend! They have fresh produce and refreshing fruit sorbets! Pick up some seasonal crops or apple cider, and get inspired as the holidays quickly approach!

2) Millstone Creek Orchards- Ramseur, NC
This one is a bit farther away but the landscape really makes it worth it! A perfectly instagrammable orchard with pumpkins, apples, and gourds! They have an upcoming Oktoberfest (Oct 26th) and Halloween Hayride (Oct 27th) that you do not want to miss. While you're there, make sure to pick up some treats from the apple barn!

3) Page Farms- Raleigh, NC
Just in time for Halloween! Head on over to Page Farms to pick our your pumpkins and enjoy the corn maze! Spend a day outside, enjoy the cool weather, and get in the holiday spirit!
Hours: (Monday- Thursday) 9am-1pm;  (Friday- Sunday) 9am-6pm
